WA has passed an Act, the Co-Operatives Act 2009, which brings WA cooperatives into line with others in Australia. 

Harvey Water, and therefore its Members, have been directly affected by this and we have had to develop new Rules to conform with the Act.  These Rules replace our previous Articles of Association for both SWIMCO and SWIAC.

A draft of the Rules was accepted by the WA Cooperatives Registrar, then presented to members for discussion and subsequently a vote was taken with the result that the new Rules were accepted.
