Dan Norton, Chairman, is a dairy farmer from Benger who has been past Chairman of the South West Irrigation Management Committee, Promoter Director of SWIMCO, member of the Water & Rivers Stakeholder Council, WAFF representative and WA representative and National Vice Chairman of ANCID. Dan was awarded Life Membership of ANCID and the RAS Rural Achiever of the Year in 2006. He also received a 2007 Outstanding Contribution to the Water Industry Award. Dan was Chair of SWIMCO from its inception to 2009 when he resigned and accepted a position on the SWIAC Board.

Charlie Marino is a dairy and beef farmer from Harvey after spending some years as a Bank Officer. He was a member of the previous SWI Management Committee. Charlie has served on the SWIMCO Board as well as the Audit Committee. He resigned from the SWIMCO Board in 2009 to take a position on the SWIAC Board.

Mike Snell was elected to the SWIMCO Board as a non-member Director at the 2008 AGM. Mike worked for over 30 years with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and, since retiring, has served on the board of a variety of community organisations. He is also a Director of the South West Irrigation Management Cooperative Ltd. Mike is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Ian Eckersley, Chairman, is a citrus and wine grape grower from Harvey. Ian is a life member of the Harvey Agricultural Society and is Chairman of the Harvey Agricultural College Advisory Committee. Ian was Chair of SWIAC until 2009 when he retired and was appointed to the SWIMCO Board.

Samuel Epiro is a dairy and beef farmer from Harvey. He has worked in Local Government and has completed a Foundations for Leadership course. Sam is a Director of the Rural Water Services Company.

Kevin Depiazzi, Director, is a dairy farmer from Dardanup. After completing a Certificate in Agricultural Mechanics in 1980 he joined his father and brother on the family dairy farm. He currently manages the business in partnership with his brother. Kevin has over 25 years experience of irrigation issues from a farmers perspective, and has particular interest in the Collie Irrigation Area. Kevin was elected to the Board of SWIMCO in 2009. Kevin is a member of the Audit Committee.

Len Snell graduated from Roseworthy Agricultural College in SA and began farming in Waroona in 1966. Currently the enterprise integrates irrigation with feedlotting and a pastoral property to produce cattle mainly for export. In 1986 he became a member of the Water Advisory Committee, then Promotion Director and an inaugural Director of SWIMCO, before taking a break in 2000. In 2006 he was again elected to represent irrigators of the Waroona district. Len is Chairman of the Rural Water Services Company.

Geoff Calder – General Manager
Geoff has been General Manager of Harvey Water since its inception in 1996. Over the 10 past exciting years Geoff has joined with the Harvey Water irrigators of WA in demonstrating that the water users can make an excellent go of running an irrigation scheme. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from UWA, a Graduate Diploma in Business from Curtin University and a Graduate Certificate in Asian Business from Edith Cowan University.

Steve Iceton – Operations Manager & Project Manager for the Harvey Pipe Project.
Steve has also been with Harvey Water from the beginning in the position of Operations Manager. Steve and his asset maintenance team have been instrumental in the overhaul of Harvey Water’s delivery system over the past 10 years including automation of the delivery system using SCADA technology, refurbishment of channels and the introduction of HDPE piping technology. Steve holds a Graduate Diploma in Structural Engineering from Longlands College. UK.

Susan Boland – Corporate Services Manager / Accountant
Susan recently joined Harvey Water in the position of Corporate Services Manager / Accountant. She brings to the organisation over fifteen years of administrative and finance experience across a broad range for industry sectors including agriculture, resources, transport and professional services. Susan oversees the Administration and Finance areas, is responsible for the corporate governance functions as well as managing Rural Water Services Pty Ltd. Susan holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting Major) from Edith Cowan University and is an Associate Member of CPA Australia.
