SOUTH WEST IRRIGATION ASSET COOPERATIVE
Kevin Warburton, Chair, was appointed to the SWIAC board as Collie Member Director. Kevin has owned and run a Holstein diary stud farm in Brunswick Junction for 40 years. Kevin’s family has a deep connection to Harvey Water, with his family being part of the irrigation scheme for three generations. He served 15 years on the Kemerton Community Advisory Group and is a former Vice-President of the Dairy section of the WA Farmers Federation. Kevin was elected to the Board of SWIAC in 2013 and was appointed Chair in November 2015. He is a lifetime member of Brunswick Primary P&C where his four children attended. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Owen McLean was appointed to the SWIAC Board as a member Director in November 2021 and is a member of the Audit Committee. Owen has a civil engineering background with more than 25 years’ experience in strategic planning, project delivery and contract management. Together with his wife and two children Owen is establishing an orchard in Uduc. Owen is a graduate of the Australian Institute on Company Directors.

Keith Halliwell was appointed to the SWIMCO Board as a non-member Director and member of the Audit and Risk Committee, and the Remuneration and Nomination Committee. Keith is a finance executive with more than 35 years’ experience in a range of roles and industries in Australia and overseas, including executive management with Capricorn Society and non-executive Director of Synerject LLc for more than 10 years. Keith currently holds the role of Non-Executive Director of Perth NRM. Keith is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a Graduate and Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors.

SOUTH WEST IRRIGATION MANAGEMENT COOPERATIVE
Samuel Epiro, Chair, was appointed to the Board as Harvey Member Director. Sam is a dairy and beef farmer in the Harvey area. Sam's experience included horticultural citrus/table grapes and local government administration. Sam holds a qualification in cooperative and mutual leadership. Prior to commencing as Chair in 2019, Sam was Deputy Chair of SWIMCO, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Kevin Depiazzi, Deputy Chair, was appointed to the SWIMCO Board as Collie Member Director in 2009. Kevin is a dairy farmer in Dardanup. After completing a Certificate in Agricultural Mechanics in 1980, he joined his father and brother on the family dairy farm. Kevin has more than 40 years’ experience in irrigation issues with a particular interest in the Collie Irrigation District. Kevin has also completed his accreditation with AICD Company Directors.

Danya Mullins was appointed as Waroona Director on the SWIMCO Board in 2024. Danya is a Waroona-based beef farmer who holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts in Planning and Design and Geography, and is a Certified Practicing Planner. Danya has worked and lived on the Mullins’ family Angus stud for over a decade and is passionate about the future of farming in the Peel and Harvey areas. Danya has over 20 years of experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects. In 2016, Danya was recognised by Engineers Australia in its inaugural list of Most Innovative Engineers.

Clayton Minson was elected to the Board of SWIMCO in 2018 as a Collie Member Director. After being educated in Perth, Clayton completed a Dairy Traineeship with a Certificate III in Agriculture. Together with his wife and three children Clayton owns and operates a successful dairy and beef business in Roelands. Clayton also holds a chair on the Asset Committee, and has completed his accreditation with AICD Company Directors.

Michael Dagostino was appointed to the SWIMCO Board as the Harvey Member Director in 2020.
Michael was born in Harvey and now spends a lot of time in Harvey with his three young children. He has been a practicing solicitor for over 25 years that has seen him working on the multi-billion dollar Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project producing one of the nation’s biggest liquefied natural gas hubs. Michael sits on various other private boards, advisory committees and sporting association boards. |
