As an organisation, we are constantly challenging our own performance to ensure our operating area remains safe for our employees and the wider community. We run education campaigns to ensure the public understands potential hazards associated with the water and services we provide.
EnvironmentHarvey Water is committed to sustainable water management practices, overseeing a vital network of irrigation water sources in the region. We monitor the quality of water across seven dams and weirs to protect water quality for environmental and community use.
We work alongside local governments, environmental consultants, local stakeholders, the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, and other agencies to minimise environmental impacts and foster eco-conscious development and growth throughout our operations. As water becomes more scarce and an increasingly significant input cost, we encourage and support members to be more efficient in the way they use water. |
