Position Overview
Maintenance Technicians carry out general maintenance operations and installations on the irrigation system (channels and pipeline) in a safe, effective, timely manner that complies with Harvey Water’s standards, policies and procedures.
Skills and Attributes
• Must have valid driver’s license;
• High safety and housekeeping standards;
• Able to work autonomously and/or in a team environment;
• General mechanical understanding and problem solving;
• Be trained and proficient in Welding Poly Pipe (preferred);
• Good communication skills;
• Time management skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in environments with extreme weather fluctuations;
• Ability to undertake a successful pre-employment medical.
