Friday, 15 January marked the opening of the Harvey Art Prize.
Harvey Art Society president Tania Jackson acknowledged and applauded all of the 190 pieces that were featured in the exhibition located at the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre. Among the winners was South West artist Sheree Dohnt who took out the $1,000 Art prize award sponsored by Alcoa. The categories included works on paper, canvas, 3D and mixed media, all of which produced world class artworks.
