Since Harvey Water’s relocation to Turnbull Street in the Harvey industrial area late last year, James Stirling Place has since gone under a dramatic renovation welcoming a 10 year lease agreement with Vet WA Ministerial Corporation (Harvey TAFE).
Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery visited the upgraded building that will become the new location for South Regional TAFE's Harvey campus. The new lease arrangement is part of the State Government's $229.2 million Rebuilding our TAFEs Plan.
Harvey Water has ensured that all upgrades completed at James Stirling Place reflect a contemporary learning environment that meets industry standards. Murray-Wellington MLA Robyn Clarke said, "this new location will make studying at TAFE in the region an even more attractive option for the local community”. Students will start to use the new facility in term four, 2020.
