Harvey Water is honoured to have been apart of the sponsorship team to create the Noongar Kaartdijin Bidee mural walk.
Together with the community, artists Ninnette Comito, Emily Comito, Krysty Jetta, Cassie Jetta, Nadia Davis, Lesley Ugle, Olive Wallam, Mitch Whitehurst and Tia Jones have created a wall to wall mural telling the story of their elders looking down reminding all to maintain and preserve for the generations to come.
The artwork by Ninette Comito tells the community about her individual connection to her culture, language, family, and elders. Noongar connection with nature and country signifies a close relationship with spiritual beings associated with the land.
