The Australian Government has available a grant opportunity through the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment. The National Landcare Program initiative for Small Farms Small Grants is an open, competitive grant opportunity to support projects to increase farming, forestry and fishing awareness, knowledge and capacity to adopt new practices towards sustainable agriculture.
Over a six year period (2017-2023), a total of $43.5million has been allocated to the project. Over the first three rounds a total of $19.026million has been awarded to 300 projects in and around Australia. Individual grants are for between $5,000 and up to $100,000.
To be eligible, you must be an individual or organisation capable of entering into a legally binding and enforceable agreement with the commonwealth.
