Nicky Waite is the new Regional Manager for the Water Corporation’s South West Region. Having spent the last eight years in various roles in the Corporation, mostly in service delivery in the South West, Nicky was selected for the top job, starting in January 2021.
Nicky has over 20 years’ senior management experience across a number of industries and has certainly made her mark.
She was the 2018 Eva Skira Scholarship Winner which took her to the US to attend Harvard Business School as part of their High Potential Leaders Program. She was also selected as the Most Outstanding Regional Role Model for the Women in Technology STEM awards in 2019.
When she’s not at work Nicky loves to cook and entertain as well as to be entertained. At home, she’s surrounded by her boys; her husband Joe and 19 year old twins who still live at home and Vito the cat.
Nicky enjoys a healthy lifestyle and balances her work life with daily workouts and yoga sessions. You’ll often find her out on the boat fishing on the weekends or getting creative with artwork or sewing.
Originally from New Zealand, Nicky came to Australia in 1992 for a working holiday and hasn’t looked back. She still has family back in New Zealand and looks forward to visiting again when possible.
Harvey Water would like to welcome Nicky and wish her all the best in her new role.
