Woolworths Dairy Innovation Fund

Woolworths has launched a Dairy Innovation Fund that will deliver $5million in grants and up to $100,000 each year over a three year period to Australian dairy farmers in the Woolworths supply chain. 

The grants will aim to support innovation, efficiency, greater resilience and sustainability on and off the farm.  

Who is eligible?
All Australian dairy farmers who are registered businesses and contribute milk to Woolworths’ dairy supply chain – directly or through processors - are eligible to apply provided that they have not already received a Grant from the Woolworths Dairy Innovation Fund.

Eligible applicants must, as at the date of their application:

• hold a registered Australian Business Number (ABN or ACN for companies);
• operate a dairy farm in Australia; and
• either directly supply raw milk to Woolworths (eg. for use in the production of Woolworths’ Farmers’ Own milk varieties) or supply raw milk to a processor for use in the production of dairy products
• that are offered for sale to consumers through Woolworths’ supermarket retail channel (including vendor-branded dairy products and Woolworths’ own-brand dairy products).

Dairy farmers who meet the criteria can submit an application from 1 December 2020 up to 16 February 2021.
